This is my first beaded watch band. I used a watch that I received as a gift. The band it had didn’t stay closed, and I liked the watch face, so I decided to make a new band. I came out gorgeous and actually dressed it up more! It’s made with 8mm Charoite polished stones, Tanzanite Swarovski crystals, sterling silver bead caps, a sterling silver toggle clasp, and a few other various glass beads.
This is a sampling of my beaded spiders. Each beaded spider is handmade in beautiful colors and measure approx 2 ½” long, 2” wide, & 1” high. The measurements vary slightly depending on the beads being used. These spiders are beautifully creepy and a lot of fun to have around. Think about what you could do with a little nylon thread. Hang them from your car air vents, or place them in your favorite plant. They also look great hanging from one of my Bead ‘n Wire Ornament Hangers! You’ve gotta have more than one!
These bead 'n wire ornament hooks are a new free form project for me. They are pretty simple and quite pretty. They measure approx 2" to 2 1/2" in length. I have some of the beaded dragonfly suncatchers hanging from these with color coordinated beads. My mother just bought some very unique and pretty glass ornaments, and we sat at my house and I made her a matching ornamental hook for each one. They came out beautiful! My mother also used earthquake putty to stick the dragonflies on her wall near a floral arrangement to look like they were flying around the flowers. Very cute!!
Bead 'n Crochet Choker
This bead 'n crochet choker is my first attempt at crocheting beaded jewelry. I actually don't think the tension is correct, but it looks cute on anyway. I made a beaded loop closure with a cute gold button.
Gold & Red Choker Set
This is a one of a kind set made for a bridal party. It's strung on Beadalon with gold seed beads, twisted gold bugle beads, and garnet red glass beads. Boy does this set catch the light! Click the image to get a close up view.
Daisy Chain Bracelet
This is my first project. Here is the pattern for this Daisy Chain. The pattern is flexible. You can place as few as one bead or many more between each flower.
Rainbow Purple Spiral Choker & Earrings
This set also has a matching bracelet. Here are the instructions for this Spiral Rope Chain pattern. I made matching earrings by beading 4mm round plastic beads.
Black Bugel & Gold Seed Bead Spiral Bracelet
This bracelet is the same spiral rope pattern using bugels and seed beads. The clasp is a beaded 4mm round plastic bead.
Pink & Crystal Spiral Rope Choker
This choker is the same spiral rope pattern as above. The clasp is different. I added a Diamond Chain and a cute hook. This choker is a birthday gift for my daughter's friend. =)
Spiral Rope Bracelet - Black w/Iridescent Brown
This bracelet is the same spiral rope pattern as above. The clasp is a beaded loop and button. It seems to hold well.
African Net Choker
This choker is made in the African Net pattern with a t-clasp closure. This t-clasp is difficult to open and close. It could be the way I chose to end the band. If anyone has an idea for a better way to connect the band to the clasp, I would appreciate a note. =)
Diamond Pattern Choker
This choker is made in the diamond pattern used in the pink choker above. I used a hook clasp for this style choker. This clasp helps to make this choker adjustable. I also used the same bead combination as in the spiral rope bracelet above. They look great together!
